Plaid Cymru in Ogmore in disarray

July 13, 2009

Plaid Cymru in Ogmore are in disarray following the deselection of their candidate.

Earlier this year, Sian Caiach, Plaid Cymru’s parliamentary candidate in Ogmore was accused of leaking stories to the Western Mail by Plaid Cymru’s National Chairman, John Dixon.

Following an internal disciplinary procedure, it has now emerged that she has been deselected as Plaid Cymru’s candidate following her refusal to divulge details of her daughter’s private e-mails to the Party.

I agree with Huw Irranca-Davies MP. I really don’t know how a political party can expect someone to divulge the contents of their daughter’s private emails.
